Point #3 Under His Training
God's school of training is different from ours. First of all, He is always right and always fair. He's never out to just teach us a lesson but to impart life to us and change us forever. Every event and every moment in our lives can be used in our training. While in training we may go through the same thing many times and wonder why. It's because we are being seasoned and tested for when the real battles come in life so we will know what to do and how to respond. If it seems you're stuck on a particular subject, rest in knowing that God is training you for something bigger. Is He trying to open your eyes to the impossible being possible? Is He trying to set your soul in a stable place so when the big storm comes you will not fall? Is He just trying to remind you and assure you that all is well and He truly is in charge of everything? Today, God reminded me that He wants me to rest and not react. To look with wonder and anticipation and not worry and anxiety. To KNOW that He is God and no one nor anything else is more powerful than Him! He is the best teacher. Sit at His feet and listen and learn. I love each of you . . . Mom

Point #2 In His Keeping
I am here - you are here and we are in His keeping. God is holding each of us right now whether or not we "feel" like it. He is the One who holds on when everyone lets go, leaves or just can't take it anymore. He is our Keeper and our Comforter. Oh, how I needed reminding of that today. As I was coming home, I cried out to the Lord to touch my heart and let me know how real He was again. As I drove down Woodmere Blvd., I saw a woman carrying about 6 bags of groceries and other items that she had bought during the day. She looked so overburdened. I pulled over to the side of the street and asked her if I could bring her home. She quickly said yes and turned out to be a neighbor of Mr. Jim P. It felt so good to be able to help someone with what seemed such a simple thing and yet I was so reminded how it delights God's heart to carry our burdens and ease the load of life. Let Him carry and keep you in this journey and look for others who need the same kindness and love.

I am here:
1. By God's appointment
What do you think? Does He really know where you am? Did He forget the tough place you are standing in? Absolutely not!!! The place we find ourselves right now might not seem like a God-appointed place or even a place that God had anything to do with, but most certainly, He is there. The book of Romans tells us that He works ALL things together for our good. Just remember - He's working and He's not finished yet. Give Him time and wait on Him.

Welcome to our blog!
Good evening family! First of all, I thank you for agreeing to participate with me on this journey and my prayer and hope is that it will first of all draw us closer to God and also closer to one another as experience life together. Our book, "The Red Sea Rules" is full of tremendous wisdom because the principles are taken from the true book of wisdom . . . the Bible. We'll begin this week with the Preface and and Rule 1 and see how far we get. I do not want us to rush through this but to receive everything we need in each chapter. Let's get started!!!!
*Rule 1: Realize that God means for you to be where you are.
Sometimes that thought seems really crazy or even cruel. Does God mean for me to go through tough times - seasons of loneliness - desperate situations with unknown endings? The answer is YES! We must understand that it is not because He sets them up, but because we live in this fallen world, with fallen people and our own fallen heart, that sometimes we will indeed be standing at the "Red Sea" with the devil chasing us on our heels. As I think about each of our lives, I know we have faced many and some are staring in those faces again. . . but know this my children - His eye is on the sparrow and I KNOW He watches you. He will make a way where there seems to be no way and where your heart and mind can not feel Him there and where your thoughts are going in every direction. He has PROMISED to NEVER leave you nor forsake you and therefore YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! I encourage you to go to this video on youtube and view this song (He Is) by Mark Schultz. It has held my soul this week. Let's start the blogging . . . I love each of you
